Sell your used textbooks

The Bookstore buys back used textbooks EVERY DAY at both the Sir George Williams and Loyola stores. These Buybacks are usually conducted at the cash counter near the main entrance of the store (street level). At the start of a term (especially in September and January) the Buybacks are held outside of the store entrances in order to avoid the crowds inside.

The 'Extraordinary Canadians' series from Penguin, explores the lives and careers of Canadians of note, such as: Norman Bethune, Pierre Elliot Trudeau, Mordecai Richler, Lester B. Pearson, Stephen Leacock, and Nelli McClung.

Bookstore Gift Cards

Gift Cards available for amounts starting at $10 and up, in $5 increments.
Use it like a debit card for any purchase at either Bookstore location
Giftcards are "reloadable" - you can add money to your card at any time.
Not for use with online purchases.
Must be used with purchase, not redeemable for cash.

The Concordia Bookstore is no longer giving away free plastic bags with purchases. Instead you may purchase a non-woven tote-bag instead for 50¢ each.
Ideally, bring your own bag or Re-use a bag you got from us before.

The profits from the sale of these tore-bags will be donated to on-campus charities: half to the R4 program, and half to the Concordia Emergency Food Fund.

Sign up to have your Customized Student Booklist automatically emailed to you at the start of every semester.

Subscribers can also choose to receive other promotional emails from the Bookstore such as announcements for sales and author events.
