Concordia University Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) OPERATING PRINCIPLES
1. Promote teams as the primary way to study processes and solve problems.
2. Consult with those you serve directly, listen to stakeholders, and collect and analyze relevant data Ü including feedback from clients and stakeholders to make informed,
evidence-based decisions.
3. Communicate information about your efforts and successes.
4. Plan with the end in mind and simplify processes to achieve efficient results.
5. Ensure that decisions are implemented and follow up on them. Don't procrastinate, act!
6. Recognize people for a job well done. 7. Make quality improvement a continuous process.
