Banner Forms, Training Material and New Procedures





1. New Banner Forms

With the switch from CUFS to Banner, the forms used for financial transactions will be changing to take into account the new Chart of Accounts.

The following forms can be purchased through the bookstore:
Please take note that until September 1 1999, you can trade in your old CUFS forms for the new Banner forms at no charge.

Furthermore, the Journal Transfer form and the Cash Receipt form have also changed. These forms can be obtained through General Accounting at 848-4927 or downloaded from this site. Also, below is the new Budget Transfer form. This form can also be obtained through the Office of Budget Planning and Control at 4931. Please note that the forms are in .pdf format.

2. Training Materials

Over the last several months, Financial Services has held many of training sessions and has made a number of presentations to the University community. Below, is a sample of some of the main presentations and training outlines. They are available for download and are a good source of information.

  1. Presentation to the MIS Steering Committee.

    This presentation was prepared by Larry Tansey, Peter Paquet and Wendy Hedrich, and was presented on March 12,1999. The presentation outlines the project goals, structure and schedule. The presentation also outlines the tasks and issues of the Technical Team.

  2. Presentation to the Director's Council on the New Chart of Accounts

    This presentation was prepared by Nathalie Laporte and was presented on May 13, 1999. The presentation outlines Concordia's new Chart.

  3. Training Manual for Banner Navigation and Budget Query.

    This manual and the accompanying presentation was prepared by Eric Patton. To date, training has been given to members of the CUBA group, other Budget Officers, the Assistants to the Rector and Vice-Rectors, and a presentation has been made at the Director's Council. This manual will continue to be used to train Banner users outside of Financial Services.
